Characteristics of aluminum casting materials

Al-Cu-Si series alloys (AC2A, AC2B)

Prioritizing high mechanical properties, these alloys are widely used in automotive parts and similar applications.

Al-Si series AC3A alloy

Containing 12% Si, this alloy has excellent castability with a low solidification temperature. While its strength is low, it has high elongation and excellent corrosion resistance.

Al-Si-Mg series (AC4A, AC4C, AC4CH) alloys

The alloy reduces Si content and adds Mg for solid solution strengthening, exhibiting age-hardening properties.

AC7A alloy

An Al-Mg series alloy containing 4.5% Mg, it offers high corrosion resistance and is mainly used in overhead line fittings and marine equipment.

Al-Si-Cu series (ADC10, ADC12)

This alloy combines both castability and strength, and is particularly used in automotive and electrical equipment parts.
